Terma North America  Terma North America, the U.S. subsidiary of the Denmark based international aerospace & defense company Terma, has significantly grown and matured the over the past years. Terma North America, Inc. is headquartered in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, and has achieved critical objectives in the award of a ISO 9001 certification. This, as well as the implementation of the systems and processes that facilitate the ability to grow and execute business, will allow for even more activity in the world’s largest Aerospace, Defense, and Homeland Security markets. This has been put in place during a time of close political and economic ties between the U.S. and Denmark. The efforts are well supported by the Danish government, including bilateral agreements supporting defense technology and trade cooperation. The growth strategy for Terma North America is to utilize a U.S.-based team of Business Development specialists, working in close cooperation with Denmark-based sales team, to expand the U.S. business opportunities across all five Terma Business Areas in a phased implementation approach. Terma North America has already experienced significant success in the Airborne Systems Business Area that is established in Warner Robins, Georgia, and now has active campaigns in process that involve all Terma Business Areas. The Business Areas of Terma include: • Aerostructures: Development and production of advanced structures for fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters  • Airborne Systems: Self-protection equipment for fighter aircraft, transport aircraft, and helicopters • Integrated Systems: Command and control systems for military and civilian applications • Radar Systems: Advanced radar systems for coastal surveillance and surveillance of marine traffic • Space Systems: Mission-critical products and software for space applications |
